Greater New York Conference is a Seventh-day Adventist institution that celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2002.

Its territory consists of the following counties: The Bronx, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond Staten Island), Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.

The Greater New York Conference has a diverse population. We have 18 organized language groups and almost every people group in the world is represented in our Conference. Our five largest communities are Hispanic, English, Multi-Ethnic, Franco-Haitian and Korean.

Our membership of 23,139 is divided among 139 organized churches: 53 Hispanic, 41 Multi-Ethnic, 30 English, 10 Franco-Haitian, and 5 Korean. We have several organized and yet-to-be-organized companies and groups.

Christian education is paramount. Our academy and 9 elementary schools prepare the youth for time and eternity.

We are very grateful for the commitment and the financial support of our members which keeps the work going from strength to strength. Surely we give God thanks for the advancement of His work in this area of the world field, and we solicit your support in whatever way you can.
